Job Description

  • Diagnosing, identifying, and repairing mechanical faults in trucks and other heavy vehicles.
  • Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and necessary part replacements to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing engine, transmission, suspension, braking, and hydraulic systems.
  • Collaborating with mechanics, technicians, and supervisors to efficiently resolve complex repairs.
  • Ensuring all repairs and maintenance work comply with safety and operational standards.
  • Keeping the workspace clean and organized at the end of the day, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.

Working hours

  • Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 19:00.
  • Saturday: 07:00 – 16:00.
  • Sundays are rest days.

Salary and bonuses

  • Technicians are placed into one of eight skill categories.
  • Salary depends on the category. The take-home pay is from €1,900 to €4,000 per month.
  • The final salary will depend on the candidate’s experience and competencies, which will be determined after the final assessment.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in truck/trailer repair or in an automotive service center.
  • Ability to independently diagnose and repair faults and find the necessary technical information when needed.
  • Experience using multiple computer diagnostics programs and working with tachograph inspection/installation.

  • Comfortable housing is provided in shared apartments or houses (two people share a room).
  • Fully equipped with necessary facilities.
