Requirements

We have a number of vacancies for qualified truck drivers. 

You will need: 

  • A valid CE-category driving licence 
  • At least 6 months of international truck driving experience 
  • Relevant professional and identification documents 

Depending on the position and your current qualifications, you may also be expected to have: 

  • Code 95 professional qualification 
  • Digital tachograph driver card 
  • ADR certificate for specialised or dangerous-goods transport 
  • Residence or employment documentation where applicable 

Basic English is usually sufficient for day-to-day communication with dispatchers, coordinators and logistics staff.

International freight routes from Lithuania extend across the Baltic region and Central Europe all the way to the United Kingdom and other Western European countries. 

Depending on current transport assignments, you may drive through: 

  • Lithuania

Specific routes depend on cargo, customer demand and the transport company’s current logistics schedule. 

Truck Types

Lithuanian transport companies operate a wide range of vehicles for reliable freightage and shipping to the United Kingdom and other countries.

Type Used for
Standard Tautliner Used for general cargo, industrial freight, retail distribution, and export shipments.
Refrigerated Common in food distribution, pharmaceuticals, and temperature-controlled logistics.
BDF – SWAP Swap-body systems used in structured distribution and parcel/logistics networks.
Car Transporter Specialized carriers transporting vehicles between ports, dealerships, and depots.
Cistern Liquid cargo transport (including fuel, chemicals, food liquids) requiring strong safety awareness and often ADR certification.

What Does an International Truck Driver Do?

International truck drivers are responsible for transporting cargo safely and efficiently between Lithuania, the United Kingdom or other European destinations. 

A typical working day may include: 

  • Performing pre-trip vehicle and safety checks  
  • Reviewing route plans and delivery instructions  
  • Overseeing cargo loading and making sure freight is properly secured  
  • Driving on local roads and motorways  
  • Tracking driving and rest periods using a digital tachograph  
  • Completing required transport and delivery documents

Drivers usually work approximately 160–190 hours per month, according to the rules of EU countries. The exact schedule is finalized before the position is accepted. 

We also offer flexible working hours. 

Salary and Bonuses

Current international truck driver roles based in Lithuania typically range from €2,850 to €3,350 net per month

Your exact earnings may vary depending on: 

  • Your previous driving experience  
  • Monthly mileage  
  • Assigned international routes  
  • Type of transport  
  • Overall work performance  

You may also receive extra bonuses for ECO driving, mileage and loyalty. 

The exact salary package and applicable bonuses are confirmed for each individual vacancy during the recruitment process.
